Delivery
 Generally freight is free to most metro areas for purchases. 1st Choice Airconditioning  reserves the right to charge additionally for: transport waiting time, after hours, re-directed or specific time deliveries.  It is the customers responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept receipt the purchase. Contact our office for a schedule of fees. GST applies to all deliveries.
You can expect delivery within the next few days after payment has been processed and accepted.

Please be aware that according to our terms and conditions, 1st Choice Air-conditioning reserves the right to reject any changes made to an order or impose an increased delivery charge for these once the order has been dispatched.
 
ATTENTION: IF THE GOODS APPEAR DAMAGED
If there are clear visible signs of damage to this consignment such as obvious signs of dropping – unit damage, holes in cartons, significant water damage or other clear evidence that the goods are damaged you should either:
  1. Reject delivery of the damaged item and change the quantity and mark the item serial number as damaged on the consignment note, or

     
  2. Accept delivery of the item, point out the damage to the delivery driver and mark on the consignment note the item serial number that is “damaged”. Write “damaged” and nothing else.
 
ALL damage must be identified in front of the delivery driver. 
DO NOT write “Subject to Inspection” this means absolutely nothing, and we can not claim as damaged from our Logistics Provider, unless damage is found at the point of delivery
DO NOT write “Carton Damage” the Logistics Provider does not pay claims for carton damage, the carton is there to protect the unit.
Remember that when you are signing for a consignment you are acknowledging that the goods are being delivered in “Good order and condition”
If you have accepted a damaged item and noted it on the proof of delivery, you can contact 1st Airconditioning on 1300 726 211 to organise a replacement unit, if it is not noted on the proof of delivery liability for damage will pass to you, the consignee. 

You will then be required to complete the ‘Goods Return Request – Damage Claim’ form and fax to 07 49 562575 in order for a replacement unit to be dispatched. At the time of delivery of the replacement unit the driver will pick up the damaged unit.
Concealed damage will be treated on a case by case basis, but must be reported within 7 days of delivery. 
DO NOT install damaged units, we sell brand new units and we wish our customers to have the best experience when purchasing an air conditioner from 1st Choice Airconditioning.
